Our team is overjoyed after receiving a major accolade from the outstanding Michigan nonprofit, First Step, during its annual gala that recognizes individuals and organizations for their impactful contributions to its mission!
In early October, those of the First Step team honored Bridgewater with their Corporate Award during their annual event, the “You Are The Light Gala“. Many from the Bridgewater team were humbled to be honored as well as to join in celebrating the contributions of nonprofit’s numerous partners, supporters, and individuals. Bridgewater also supported the gala as a Brillance sponsor.

In addition to the recognitions, the event was joyful. It was full of great music, food, dancing, and entertainment!
Since 1978, First Step has been working to create peaceful families and safe communities in Wayne County. Through the gala, those of the nonprofit are able to help provide free services, such as shelter, transitional housing, counseling, legal information, children’s programs, assault response, food, transportation, and advocacy. First Step even has a program for the pets of the families in shelter, so that furry loved ones don’t get left behind.
Bridgewater is beyond grateful for the incredible work and mission of First Step! We look forward to continuing to support this wonderful nonprofit in the coming years!
