Energy, inspiration, and purpose filled the room as hundreds of leaders and changemakers gathered at Ford Field for the 10th Annual Women of Influence Summit.
During March, Bridgewater Interiors was proud to attend and sponsor this impactful event hosted by United Way for Southeastern Michigan. The Summit brought together a powerful community committed to advancing opportunities for women and strengthening communities across the region.
For our team, this event is always a highlight. It is an opportunity to come together, connect, and be inspired by the people and ideas shaping the future. It also created a meaningful team bonding experience, reinforcing our shared commitment to showing up and supporting initiatives that truly make a difference.
Throughout the day, the atmosphere was filled with connection and purpose. From the Women Owned Business Marketplace to dynamic conversations on leadership and growth, the Summit created space for meaningful dialogue and inspiration. Attendees heard from influential leaders including Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield, Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, and Alice Thompson, who was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Keynote speaker Susan Packard also delivered a powerful message on building strong communities and fostering a sense of belonging.
One of the most impactful elements of the event was its continued contribution to the community. Since its inception, the Women of Influence Summit has raised more than two million dollars to support early childhood education, families, and future generations across Southeastern Michigan. It is a powerful reminder of what can happen when individuals and organizations come together with a shared purpose.
