Each year, our team at Bridgewater Interiors and those of our joint partner, Adient, are delighted to sponsor, support, and attend First Step’s “You Are the Light” Gala. The admirable event was created to celebrate and recognize the incredible work of First Step’s team, volunteers, sponsors, and all those who support its efforts to eliminate domestic and sexual violence in Southeast Michigan and beyond. This year’s event proved to be very memorable as it was the first event held in person since the pandemic and drew a great celebratory crowd, including our own Bridgewater Interiors team. As WXYZ’s Carolyn Clifford hosted the event, we were inspired by the admirable stories shared by those positively impacted by the non-profit.
On behalf of our team, we greatly applaud the mission of First Step and its life-changing impact on those within our greater community. We also want to give a shout-out to our leader Elaine Tingle, for chairing First Step’s board and her many contributions to the organization! We look forward to attending its annual gala next fall!
