We believe in the power that our youth have to make our world a better place, especially when they are given the resources and the opportunity to do so. That’s why our team is delighted to support Beyond Basics, a nonprofit literacy organization paving the way to an equitable society by helping children to access a great education and to pursue their dreams.
Recently, our team attended the organization’s annual “Coming Together for Children” event at the Detroit Athletic Club. The event helped raise $300,000 to support the organization’s goal of empowering local students to read at grade level.
On behalf of all of us at Bridgewater, we would like to commend those of Beyond Basics for all that they do to positively impact our youth. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to join their efforts in helping our local youth, and we look forward to attending this event again next year!
