Our team was so excited to be a part of the first group of people to see and experience the new 3.5-mile East Riverfront connection along the Detroit Riverfront!
We were recently invited to join the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy in celebrating the Grand Opening of the Uniroyal Promenade – the final section of the East Riverfront that provides a connection between Mt. Elliott Park and Gabriel Richard Park as well as connects the Riverwalk to the Belle Isle Bridge. The event was incredible and inspiring!
Amazingly, it was just twenty years ago when the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy began working with the community to create a riverwalk that would bring people together at the water’s edge. Today, that vision the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy once had is a reality.
