Every step counts when it came to making a difference — and this October, the Bridgewater Interiors Lansing team once again came together to support breast cancer awareness and research through the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
An Annual Tradition of Purpose and Passion
Our Bridgewater Interiors Lansing team proudly continued their annual tradition of joining the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at the Michigan State Capitol. Together, we surpassed our $10,000 goal and walked in unity for awareness, research, and hope — a day filled with purpose, passion, and commitment to the fight against breast cancer. 💖
Held on Saturday, October 18th, the event united thousands of participants from across the region in a powerful show of solidarity for survivors, families, and advocates. The steps taken that day were more than symbolic — they represented hope, healing, and determination to create lasting change.
Leading with Heart and Teamwork
Led by Amy Quintero, the Lansing team embodied the compassion and collaboration that define Bridgewater Interiors. Through creativity, dedication, and teamwork, the group exceeded its fundraising goal, directly supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to advance research and provide critical resources for those affected by breast cancer.
To help achieve this milestone, employees organized a series of fun and meaningful plant events, including the Real Men Wear Pink Challenge and an Ice Bucket Challenge. These activities not only raised funds but also brought the entire team together in a spirit of unity and generosity.
A Community United
The walk at the Michigan State Capitol was filled with energy, encouragement, and compassion. Whether walking for loved ones, celebrating survivors, or simply showing support for the cause, participants demonstrated what’s possible when a community unites around purpose. It was a day that perfectly reflected Bridgewater Interiors’ culture of giving back and making a difference — together.
