🧦 We came. We collected. We conquered — one pair of socks at a time! 🧦
Bridgewater Interiors proudly wrapped up its 2025 Sock It to Me September Sock Drive with an extraordinary 5,551 pairs of socks donated to The NOAH Project — marking the organization’s largest single sock donation ever.
This initiative brought together employees from across Bridgewater’s plants to support a cause that provides warmth, comfort, and dignity to those in need throughout the Detroit community.
Team Effort, Big Impact
A heartfelt thank-you goes to everyone who contributed to this record-breaking achievement — especially Joann “JJ” Jones, who single-handedly collected an incredible 926 pairs of socks, and Plant Manager Erik Hall, whose leadership and encouragement helped the team push past its ambitious goal of 5,000 pairs.
Community Partnerships that Matter
Bridgewater Interiors also extends its deep appreciation to the African Ancestry Business Resource Group (AABRG) — an employee-led team at Adient focused on professional development, community outreach, and inclusion — for their generous support and partnership in the effort. The Oxford plant also made a remarkable contribution, adding 1,000 pairs of socks to the total.
A Shared Mission of Care
For Bridgewater Interiors, this drive represents more than numbers — it’s about community, compassion, and carrying forward a legacy of care.
“We did it because John Doe mattered.”
Together, the Bridgewater Interiors team continues to make a lasting impact — one act of kindness, and one pair of socks, at a time.
