Lansing team volunteers with Power 96.5 FM to prepare more than 1,200 backpacks for local students
As students across Lansing settle into a new school year, Bridgewater Interiors is proud to celebrate another opportunity to support the communities where our team members live and work.
The Bridgewater Interiors Lansing team recently joined Power 96.5 FM to help prepare for the 17th Annual BackPack Giveaway, powered by MSUFCU. Together, volunteers worked to get more than 1,200 backpacks ready for students throughout the Lansing and East Lansing communities.
Each backpack was filled with essential school supplies, including notebooks, pencils, water bottles, lunch boxes, and other items designed to help students begin the school year prepared and ready to learn.
Starting the School Year With Support
The annual BackPack Giveaway brings the community together around a simple but important goal: making sure local students have the tools they need as they return to the classroom.
For the Bridgewater Interiors team, volunteering is about more than preparing backpacks. It’s an opportunity to support students and families while giving back to a community that our Lansing team is proud to be part of.
As many students wrap up their first official week of school, we hope these backpacks are helping them feel prepared and excited about everything the year ahead has to offer.
