Inside Our Warren Plant: Interns Gain Real-World Experience

August 27, 2026

At Bridgewater Interiors, internships are about more than observing—they’re about giving emerging professionals opportunities to contribute, learn, and experience the realities of working in manufacturing.

As the summer comes to a close, we’re continuing to reflect on the experiences that helped our interns build new skills and gain valuable perspectives they can carry into the classroom and their future careers.

For Isabella Asai, one of those opportunities came at Bridgewater Interiors’ Warren plant, where she and Bernadetta Luzinski worked alongside the materials team to support the facility’s physical inventory count.

Learning Through Real-World Experience

Supporting physical inventory gave Isabella an opportunity to put several important professional skills into practice, including attention to detail, problem-solving, organization, communication, and teamwork.

The experience also provided a firsthand look at the importance of accuracy and collaboration within a manufacturing operation—and how individual responsibilities come together to keep processes moving efficiently.

For Isabella, it was another opportunity to connect what she has learned in the classroom with a real-world business environment.

“Experiences like this continue to expand my perspective and help me connect what I’ve learned in the classroom to real-world business environments.”

Investing in the Next Generation

Meaningful internship experiences happen when young professionals are given opportunities to contribute—not simply observe.

Throughout her time at Bridgewater Interiors, Isabella has been able to learn from colleagues, take on new challenges, and continue developing skills that will serve her well beyond the summer.

As Isabella shared:
“Each day I come to work I am grateful to work for a company that pours into its interns. I’ve learned so much in the past few months and I am excited to learn even more.”

That sentiment reflects exactly what we hope our interns take away from their time with us: new knowledge, greater confidence, meaningful relationships, and a clearer understanding of the opportunities ahead.

We’re proud of Isabella, Bernadetta, and all of our interns for the enthusiasm and commitment they brought to Bridgewater this summer. We’re equally grateful to the Bridgewater team members who invested their time and knowledge in helping them grow.

Creating opportunities for the next generation to learn, contribute, and thrive is another way we’re proud to be #MoreThanSeats.
